Adding Surveys to Views

When you create a survey in Unwrap, it lives in your organization and can be added to one or more views depending on where you want to analyze the responses. This gives you flexibility to route survey data to different teams or use cases within your organization.

Overview

Surveys you create are organization-wide resources that can pipe their responses into any view you choose. This means you can have a single survey feeding into multiple views, or keep survey responses isolated to specific views based on your needs.

Two Ways to Add Surveys to Views

There are two ways to connect an existing survey to a view, depending on where you're working. Both produce the same outcome:

Option 1: From the Integrations Page

This approach is useful when you're setting up integrations for a specific view and want to add existing survey data alongside other data sources.

  1. Go to the Integrations page

  2. Head to your Unwrap dashboard and select the view you want to add the survey to

  3. Click on "Integrations" in the main navigation

  4. Click the "+ New Integration" button

  5. Select your survey

  6. Find "Unwrap Surveys" in the available integrations list

  7. Click "Select"

  8. Choose which survey you want to add from the dropdown

  9. Click "Create Integration"

Once added, survey responses will start flowing into this view's analytics.

Option 2: From the Survey Recipients Tab

This approach works well when you're working in the survey configuration and want to quickly add it to a view.

  1. Open the survey configuration

  2. Navigate to the survey you want to add

  3. Go to the "Recipients" tab

  4. Add to a view

  5. Click the "Add Survey to View" button

  6. Select which view you want the survey responses to appear in

  7. Confirm your selection

The survey will now send its responses to the selected view.

What Happens After Adding a Survey

Once you've added a survey to a view, responses start flowing automatically:

  • Automatic Processing: Survey responses are analyzed using Unwrap's NLP capabilities

  • Real-time Updates: New responses appear in your dashboard as they come in

  • Unified Analysis: Survey data gets analyzed alongside your other feedback sources for richer insights

Next Steps

Now that your survey is connected to a view, you can:

  • Review responses and insights in your Unwrap dashboard

  • Add the same survey to other views if you want the data to appear in multiple places
