Unwrap Linked Actions: Setup Guide

Last updated: February 11, 2026

What are Linked Actions?

Linked Actions connects your project management tool (Jira, Asana, or Linear) to Unwrap, allowing you to create tickets directly from Unwrap Groups. When your team resolves an issue, Unwrap reports on the relative change in complaints related to the linked group, letting you know if your work solved the problem or if there's still more to address.

Why We Need These Permissions

Unwrap requires limited access to your project management tool to:

  1. Create issues/tasks: Automatically create tickets from Unwrap Groups in your project management tool

  2. Read workspace structure: See your projects, teams, and users so you can select where to create tickets and who to assign them to

  3. Sync status: Read issue status so Unwrap can show whether linked work is in progress or complete

We request only the minimum scopes necessary. Unwrap does not delete any existing issues/tasks in your workspace.

How to Connect

Please note, Unwrap Admin permissions are required to connect with Jira, Asana, or Linear.

Step 1: Navigate to Organizations

Go to app.unwrap.ai/dashboard/organizations and select your Organization.

Step 2: Find the Connections Section

On the right side of the Organizations page, you'll see the Connections panel with options for Slack, Jira, Asana, and Linear.
